Why We Do Source of Funds and Source of Wealth Checks
Sometimes we need to run extra checks – known as Source of Wealth (SOW) or Source of Funds (SOF). These happen when we need to confirm two things:
- You can comfortably afford the amount you’re spending.
- Where the money you’re spending with us is coming from.
Think of it like the checks a bank or financial institution does every day – it’s all about keeping things safe and fair.
We know this might feel a bit intrusive, but it’s our duty to protect you. As a business handling financial transactions, we’re obliged to carry out these checks to keep everything above board.
